Tax Doesn't Have to be Taxing

Chris Dalley is a Business Advisor with HM Revenue & Customs with over 30 years experience.

He supplies help and advice to employers and the self employed regarding their tax and National Insurance obligations without any jargon or confusing calculations!

At this workshop he will be looking at “getting started” – explaining how to register with HMRC, the basics of record keeping, the date your Tax Return and payments are due. He will then look at what are allowable and disallowable business expenses and how you can claim the cost/market value of business assets under the heading of Capital Allowances.

This workshop will be of general interest to both new and well established self employed practitioners and those with a small business in the creative industries. There will be a question and answer session which will enable Chris to give specific advice.
