New initiative to support the ICT sector

West Cornwall Business Network is launching a brand new initiative, the Integrated Business Enterprise (IBE), to the Cornish ICT sector to assist firms in creating supply chain collaborations.

Many small businesses in Cornwall have remarked on the difficulties in winning more valuable contracts and tenders because of their size, and as a result many contracts are awarded out of county. The IBE initiative will help businesses access larger and more diverse contracts normally won by large corporations. IBE project manager Sam Marnham, based in Coodes Truro, believes it will add new streams of business for its members and as a result help develop the local economy.

So why should I join?

To increase your sales! IBE will give your organisation access to opportunities previously out of reach. We will actively market the skills of each group to both the public and private sector and then bring these opportunities to the group.

But we do more than that because we will help you through the process of finding and working with a partner, provide an array of tools to assist collaborations, and even give advice on completing tender documents!

Do I have to be located in West Cornwall to join?

No the IBE is open to the whole sector across Cornwall.

How do I join the IBE?

Initially the project will be launched to the ICT sector with more sectors coming soon.

If you are in the ICT sector then come along to one of our launch meetings being held across Cornwall and complete an application form on the day.
